Louis Baker Releases Red Bull Music Academy Limited Edition 7” Vinyl “Just Want to Thank You”
In hands right now is the exclusive 5th installment of the Red Bull Music Academy limited edition vinyl, featuring
Wellington-based singer songwriter Louis Baker.
Just Want to Thank You was recorded in the Red Bull Studios in Auckland with studio engineer Ben Lawson, and features a compelling B side solo
version of the new number, with his fragile, revealing vocal backed by acoustic guitar. Baker joined forces with New
Zealand-born, Brisbane-based producer Jordan Rakei for A side, who adds the beats, BV's and keys revealing a soul-style

The Red Bull Music Academy’s 7” record celebrates Baker’s time spent at the New York City edition of the Academy, and
stands him in steed with esteemed musicians Coco Solid, Mara TK Riki Gooch, Alistair Deverick and Grayson Gilmour - all
of whom have released limited edition vinyl as part of the Academy’s New Zealand legacy.
Baker will celebrate the official 7” release with special guests at the San Fran on Saturday, September 20. Just Want to Thank You will be available for purchase on September 19 from all good record stores, with both tracks also available on iTunes, Google and Spotify.
