WORLD ON FIRE TOUR
Stewart Macpherson of the Stetson Group is pleased to announce, legendary British-American musician / songwriter and former lead guitarist of Guns N Roses, SLASH is bringing his WORLD ON FIREtour to Hamilton’s Claudelands Arena on February 17 and Wellington’s TSB Arena on the 18 February 2015 with a show that promises to set your world alight!
WORLD ON FIRE is a full throttle, in-your-face, a hunk of burning rock n roll that takes no prisoners.
Kiwi’s will be able to mosh to iconic Guns N Roses and SLASH tracks along with songs from the new WORLD ON FIRE album featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators - singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), & the Conspirators, Frank Sidoris, Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns.
Hamilton band Devilskin (Jennie Skulander, Paul Martin, Nic Martin and Nail) will open for SLASH.
Named as ‘one of the greatest guitar players of all time’, SLASH has amassed album sales of over 100 million copies, has won seven Grammy nominations, a Grammy award and countless accolades.
In 1993 he formed Slash's Snakepit and, in 2002, co-founded the super-group Velvet Revolver. He went on to release two solo albums, Slash (2010) and Apocalyptic Love (2012) - which produced SLASH two #1 US solo hits with You’re a Lie and Standing in the Sun.
WORLD ON FIRE the album is out Friday 12 September through Sony Music and smokin hot tickets to the WORLD ON FIRE shows go on sale on Monday 15 September.
