Carter Observatory plays host to a Halloween party with a difference this October when tricks and treats take a turn for the worse on the International Space Station. Someone has been murdered, and there is nowhere to run when you’re in space. Carter Observatory and improvisation troupe, Best on Tap present Murder Mystery on the International Space Station on Thursday 30 October & Friday 31 October at 7pm.
Guests are invited to join the murder mystery evenings to help solve the dastardly death. There are many odd characters wearing many odd disguises on board- But who dunnit?

Featuring :
Ariane
Puissant is Head of Puissant Industries and Captain
of the ‘Solar Flare’. She grew up in a small farming
village in the South of France. Puissant Industries is a
world leader in space travel. Played by Nicola
Pauling
Dr Astrid Leech is
a medical school graduate and was chosen out of thousands of
applicants for the position as Doctor on the space station.
She feels it’s her duty to not only look after her
colleagues but most importantly help them cope with the
extreme circumstances of space. Played by Kate
Wilson
Burro' Sanchez Gonzalez is
husband to Ariane Puissant and the chirpy purser aboard the
space station - he likes to think he puts the 'Flare' in
Solar Flare. Played by Geoff Simmons
Dr
Vladamir Pierce is a Researcher who needs space, a
slightly awkward member of team ‘Solar Flare’ (he hates
the name). He is very scholarly, but can be the life blood
of the party. He likes practical jokes, but often gets under
peoples’ skin. Played by Anton van
Halden
"Max the Engineer." Although
the Captain doesn’t know it, Max is the baby she gave up
25 years ago, who has now tracked down his estranged mother
and secured a place on her space station. Is Max’s CV
accurate: a highly trained, passionate engineer? Or is this
bright spark actually a fraud? Played by Matt Hutton
(Thurs 30th and Mary Little Friday
31st)
Ursula Undress is the Public
Relations Manager for Puissant Industries and in charge of
media relations for this maiden voyage of the good ship
Solar Flare. Ursula is a no-nonsense business woman with a
keen eye for detail and a love of order. Played by Amy
Williamson
Participants will explore the whole
Observatory, planetarium and historic telescopes as they
attempt to pick up the trail of the murderer. There will be
wine and canapés throughout the evening.
