Endangered Norfolk Island Green Parrot focus for Bird Lovers this December

Arks Australia on Norfolk Island 02-06 December. Their wealth of knowledge will provide a fun-filled week of bird
watching and a highlight of the week being a presentation on the endemic and endangered Norfolk Island Green Parrot.

colonies. During the week a presentation by researchers and managers of the endemic and endangered Norfolk Island Green
Parrot will be specially presented to visiting birdwatchers.
The Norfolk Island group is a breeding site for several 100,000 seabirds including the masked booby, grey ternlet, white
tern, sooty tern and wedge-tailed shearwater. Phillip Island supports one of the largest breeding populations of
red-tailed tropic birds in Australia.
