Raggamuffin Announces Pre-Parties with Sammy Johnson
Fresh off the back of a US tour with Common Kings, Sammy Johnson is set to kick off the Raggamuffin party early with a series of intimate shows across the country.
Official Raggamuffin pre-parties will take place in Christchurch, Levin, Porirua and Auckland.
All pre-party ticket purchases will go in the draw to win tickets to Raggamuffin Music Festival which takes place on Saturday 13 December at Auckland’s Trust Arena, and features performances from British reggae royalty UB40 ft Ali Campbell, Astro & Mickey Virtue, Jamaican prodigy Chronixx and US Hip Hop legends Ice Cube and Cypress Hill and more.
Also part of the official Raggamuffin bill, Sammy Johnson returns to New Zealand following a huge tour across America with roots and reggae sensations, Common Kings, including a performance at the sold out Island Reggae Festival in California.
With new tunes set for release later in the year, come hear all your Sammy J favourites including ‘Don’t Say Goodbye’, ‘Fall in Love’ and ‘No Sleep’ alongside some sweet new tunes, as you get prepped for one of the biggest days in the reggae calendar – Raggamuffin.
Tickets for the Sammy Johnson pre-party shows are on sale now from the following outlets, with discounted prices on all pre-sales. Tickets for Raggamuffin are available from Ticketmaster.co.nz and onsite at the pre-party shows.
