Let's Bring Fanfare Home to Christchurch
We are excited to announce that SCAPE Public Art has launched its Bring Fanfare HomePledgeMe Campaign to raise the targeted $50,000 needed to install Fanfare in Christchurch.
In return for contributing any amount between $10 and $5,000 to our PledgeMe Campaign, you will receive one of a great
range of rewards, as our way of saying thank you for helping us bring Fanfare home to Christchurch. Rewards include postcards or posters signed by the artist, a specially designed Fanfare brooch and tickets to our VIP Fanfare Opening, to name a few.
Fanfare, by Neil Dawson, is a visionary sculpture with 360 separate “pinwheels” that spin freely in the wind and are spread
over a massive 20 metre diameter. The final funds are needed to getFanfare installed in its new home at Chaney’s Corner beside the Northern Motorway.
SCAPE Public Art would like to offer you the opportunity to become an integral part of what will be an iconic sculptural
legacy for Canterbury and Christchurch. When installed, Fanfare will be New Zealand’s largest work of public sculpture and we cannot wait to see it installed.
