LITTLE BARK RELEASES NEW ALBUM - USB
“If David Lynch had directed Miami Vice, this would be the soundtrack”
Drawing on influences from Vangelis to modern day electro such as Fever Ray, Little Bark has created her own Unique Sonic Broadcast with her album USB available from August 29th.
Following her critically acclaimed self-released debut Hope Is Rubbery in 2011, Little Bark has spent the last three years readying herself for her sophomore album USB (Unique Sonic Broadcast). Co-produced with long-term collaborator Stef Animal (The Golden Awesome, Mestar), the synth-based album is laid out like a film soundtrack with synth pop songs interspersed with lush instrumentals.
Two singles from the album have already been released, including ‘Modern Love’ which featured in Alt-Radio charts, and ‘Arpreggiator’ which was handpicked as part of the NZ Music Month’s Becks New New Zealand music project.
Out on CD and digitally, along with pre-orders for a limited edition purple vinyl pressing of the album.
"Sophie Burbery/Little Bark - spoilt with talent, a kaleidoscope of ideas, full of irresistible hooks" Radio NZ
“a rousing array of space age synths and catapulting electronics that collide to create a quasi-futuristic, instrumental dreamscape” – Chartshaker
