Xanthe White Tipped as Major Draw Card for Wellington Home & Garden Show
Jade Promotions, the country’s largest provider of home, garden and lifestyle shows, has said today that it anticipates
having Xanthe White as a celebrity speaker at its Wellington Home & Garden Show will be a major draw card for show visitors. The Show will run Friday through to Sunday from 26-28
September at the Westpac Stadium.
The internationally-acclaimed landscaper, writer and gardening guru will speak for around 45 minutes each day on
‘Creating Inspiring Gardens’. She will present the seminar at 12.30 pm on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Show.
It will include simple steps on garden design and utilising the space that is available, including easy designs that can
be applied at home.
“I am really excited to be coming down to Wellington thanks to Daltons. We all know gardening can have its challenges,
and I think Wellington presents unique opportunities with its weather and landscape to be even more creative and use the
space you have wisely. I’m looking forward to talking to local gardeners and giving them some ideas on creating great
gardens!”, Ms White says.
Show organiser, Daniel Joll, says “We are delighted to have Daltons bring such a well-respected celebrity to the Show –

pleaser, especially as we currently understand that this event will be the only home show running in Wellington for the
rest of this year.”
