Opportunity for New Zealand Artists to Exhibit in Central Hamilton Gallery
26 AUGUST 2014
Submissions are invited from New Zealand-based artists and arts groups interested in holding an exhibition of their work at ArtsPost Galleries & Shop in Hamilton.
Part of the Waikato Museum complex, Hamilton’s beautifully restored former Post Office building has three galleries that feature new exhibitions every six weeks. Waikato Museum Collections and Exhibitions Manager Stephen Pennruscoe says this is an opportunity for artists and groups to take advantage of the gallery’s location in the popular south end of Hamilton’s Victoria Street to show and sell their work.
“ArtsPost offers a high profile space, high foot traffic and substantial sales and promotion opportunities. With three galleries and a retail store, visitors are assured of variety and we offer professional support for emerging artists and groups to show their work to a captive audience.”
Artists’ proposals are evaluated for quality, creativity and fit with the vision for the gallery. Visit ArtsPost online for more information or to download an application form. ArtsPost Galleries & Shop is located at 120 Victoria Street Hamilton and open daily from10.00am until 4.30pm.
