She’s Britain’s most popular soprano and she’s soon to arrive in New Zealand to star as the Mother Abbess in Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Ian’s London Palladium production of The Sound of Music.
The producers of The Sound of Music proudly announce at LESLEY GARRETT CBE will also perform in a stunning, one-night-only recital at Auckland’s Aotea Centre on 30 October – showcasing the magic that has made her a star of stage, television and radio.
Lesley will be accompanied on the piano and will perform a selection of songs and arias from well-known operas, musicals and popular music. This concert recital offers a unique opportunity to enjoy an intimate evening with a dazzling musical icon.
The pre-sale for this very special evening will begin next week and the general public will have access to tickets on Monday, 1 September via Ticketmaster
