Two Music Legends Coming to TSB Bowl of Brooklands
Two of the biggest names in music will be performing at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands this summer.
Paul Simon and Sting will be bringing their On Stage Together tour to the Bowl on 31 January 2015 as part of a world tour.
Says Mayor Andrew Judd: “We are thrilled to play host to these world-renowned artists at our wonderful TSB Bowl of Brooklands. I’m sure this is a concert our community will be excited to support.”
Manager Venues Nelita Byrne says the show has generated hugely positive reviews in the United States.
“Sting and Paul Simon are music icons in their own right but together they will be sensational – especially so at the outdoor amphitheatre of the TSB Bowl of Brooklands,” she says.
“The Bowl has had iconic acts give truly memorable performances over the decades and this show will surely rank high among them.”
Sting’s string of hits includes Roxanne, Fields of Gold, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic and Englishman In New York, while Paul Simon’s song catalogue features 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard and You Can Call Me Al.
Tickets are on sale to the general public from noon on Wednesday 3 September at ticketmaster.co.nz, phone 0800 11 999 or at TSB Showplace Box Office.
