Hamilton Based Alternative/Pop-Punk Band "The Latest Fallout" Going on National Tour
Hamilton based Alternative/Pop-Punk band The Latest Fallout have found themselves at an exciting point in their bands
movement. With achievements stacking up and their nation wide tour quickly approaching the bands popularity can easily
be seen by their ever growing fan base.
The opportunities are endless for The Latest Fallout and as lead singer Brendan Pyper said when asked about future goals
“there is nothing we [the band] don’t want to achieve”. The band would love a sell out tour when they leave to do their
concerts in October but their goals stem further than this. The Latest Fallout hope to achieve recognition from the New
Zealand music industry to help with getting their music more widely acknowledged. As well as this the band would like to
see themselves travel to other countries where their music will be appreciated.
The Latest Fallout have recently signed MediaPA as their promoter which will help with boosting their profile and
therefore create more recognition. Having MediaPA as their promoters will also supply them with an advocate for future
advertising and be essential in promoting their up coming tour and other endeavors of the band.
The upcoming tour will take place in October with about ten shows planned over the north and south islands. The band
will be performing the popular tracks off their recently released self-titled album. The band look forward to playing
the songs that have been popular with the fans and Brendan Pyper adds that they “have been putting in a lot of practice
to make this the best show yet”.
The Latest Fallout hope to continue their success and hopefully through recognition of achievements such as being chosen
by Air New Zealand to have their latest album as the in-flight music as passengers board the planes, have their
potential recognized enough to be signed to a music label. A serious goal for the band who are extremely passionate
about what they do. With up coming albums Brendan says the band want to “try a lot of sounds, something different” than
what we heard with the last album as they give everything to keep moving upwards.
If you would like to experience the passion of The Latest Fallout for yourself take the opportunity on September 6th 7pm
at the Meteor in Hamilton.
