Flava Old School is here!
If your idea of a pumping Saturday night is sippin’ on gin and juice with Snoop Doggy Dogg, and putting your hands up in the air and waving them around like you just don’t care.... then we have the PERFECT station for you and your party loving friends.
iHeartRadio is proud to introduce Flava Old School - a brand new station featuring all the best in old school Hip-Hop and RnB programmed by the guys that bring you Flava.
“Flava Old School is all about delivering the best Hip-Hop and R’n’B classics in one place”, says Flava Content Director, Hayden Hare. “I’ve had a great time programming this station and reminiscing about all the music that got me into Hip-Hop and RnB back in the day. So many Hip-Hop and RnB legends rose to fame in the 90s and now they have a home on Flava Old School”.
The station will feature all your favourite old school classics by iconic artists such as Tupac, Biggie, TLC, Aaliyah, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Missy Elliot, Ice Cube, Salt-N-Pepa - you know, all the hits that you played on your favourite cassette tape and busted out your best dances moves to.
“Flava Old School provides a home for people to graduate to and still remain part of the Flava family”, says Hare. “I’m proud to say that Flava now covers all Hip-Hop and RnB eras. Flava offers people the chance to still listen to all their favourite Hip-Hop and RnB hits and practice their running man anywhere they want, with the iHeartRadio app or on the website”.
