AGENT COLLECTING SCARS TOUR
19 August 2014
London based New Zealand progressive rockers Agent are returning home to New Zealand for the first time in six years to perform for Kiwi fans during a special four-date tour in November.
Playing their latest album ‘Kingdom Of Fear’ to Kiwi fans, the tour kicks off at Bodega in Wellington on the 20th of November, before moving up and down country finishing with a headlining slot at the official after party of the NZ Tattoo and Art festival in New Plymouth.
Agent will also be celebrating the release of their new single and video ‘Collecting Scars’ due for release on 25th August. The single was recorded and produced by Paul Matthews of I Am Giant and the video was shot in the UK and Europe by freelance photographer turned videographer Marcus Maschwitz whose portfolio includes Rolling Stone, Kerrang, FHM, and Rocksound to name a few.
“Total band, total album” – 9/10 – Just For Kicks – Germany
“Agent bring together off-kilter rhythms, a grungy slow plod and sparing inflections of the east, and it’s a recipe that works well for them” – PROG Magazine
“Agent are definitely worth a look for those who like their music to be a combination of melodic and muscular…” – The Monolith, UK
Lead singer / guitarist James Donaldson says “We’re really happy to be coming home for these dates, a lot has happened to us in the last few years, we moved country, swapped a drummer, gained a guitarist, and we are really looking forward to bringing the live show to New Zealand. It’s going to be loud, and will no doubt be the highlight of my year!”
