Kapiti Food Fair well on the way to 100 vendor sites

The Kapiti Food Fair is gathering momentum each day with 73 vendor sites now booked. “We anticipate reaching 100 sites which are going to offer a real united nations mix of ready to eat and produced food from New Zealand food and beverage businesses,” says Helene Judge, Fair Spokesperson.
The Fair is also delighted to announce that Karena & Kasey Bird, our Celebrity Chefs will be running an exclusive Duos Masterclass in the commercial kitchen at the Whitireia Kapiti Campus. This will be a night for real foodies as they will prepare a three course dinner and then sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labours with Karena & Kasey. Tickets go on sale for this event in September and will be $300 per duo – “there will only be nine tickets for sale so you will need to get in quick to be part of this Masterclass”, Helene picks. “We believe there are many duos out there who will have a real blast taking part in this super tasty class – Mum’s & Dads’, Mum & daughter, Dad & son, Gran & grandchild, best friends, the list goes on as it will be a perfect special occasion to share with someone else”. On the day of the Fair, Karena & Kasey, along with Jeanine van Kradenburg of PartyPerfect Catering and our celebrity kitchen sponsors (Air New Zealand, BCE Catering Equipment, Kapiti Kitchen, Soprano Limoncello & Tender Tips Asparagus), they will be whipping up a storm at their two hour show and then a one hour Fair walkabout – we can’t wait to host these talented young ladies in Kapiti”, says Jeanine.
