LIVE English Premier League Games Free-To-Air

LIVE English Premier League Games Free-To-Air on TVNZ Every Weekend
FROM SUNDAY 17 AUGUST AT 1.50AM

TV ONE and TVNZ Ondemand are changing the way the English Premier League is screened. Instead of delayed coverage, there will now be a LIVE game every weekend, starting from Sunday 17 August. Games will be free-to-air on TV ONE and online at the same time, and delayed coverage can be viewed afterwards on TVNZ Ondemand.

The first game on 17 August at 1.50am is between London rivals Tottenham and West Ham. New Zealand fans will be able to cheer on All Whites star player Winston Reid in his first game of the season.

Upcoming matches include Everton vs Arsenal on Sunday 24 August at 4.20am, then Manchester City vs Stoke City on Sunday 31 August at 1.50am.

A highlights programme will also screen on TV ONE every Wednesday night at midnight.

TV ONE Associate Programmer Adam Soldinger says, “We’re delighted to bring our viewers these games free-to-air. The English Premier League is the biggest league in the world, and following the huge success of our FIFA World Cup coverage, we know fans of the beautiful game will be excited to have more live and uninterrupted football coverage.”
