THOMAS OLIVER covers James Blake 'I Am Sold' (live) - Aston Rd Sessions
Watch what happens when Thomas Oliver covers electronic artist James Blake’s song with a Weissenborn lap-slide guitar and a loop pedal.
Delicate falsetto vocals soar above layered drum beats played on the body of the Weissenborn, creating a unique rendition of this song and showcasing Oliver’s multi-dimensional talents as a vocalist and guitar player.
"I've been listening to James Blake every morning and every night. His music intrigues me; it's like a collision of singer-songwriter and electronic producer, and a juxtaposition of beauty and chaos. I was drawn to the challenge of recreating I Am Sold in a solo acoustic performance," says Oliver.

The venue was the Blue Barn Studio in Newtown, which was a unique opportunity for many of the fans to be in a working recording studio.
