EasiYo Tactix are pleased to announce the signing of exciting young midcourter Erikana Pedersen to the Mainland team for the 2015 ANZ Championship season.
The 19 year old (who turns 20 on Monday), has played two seasons with the Northern Mystics in 2013 and 2014. She has experience playing at national level for the New Zealand Secondary Schools and was a key member of the New Zealand U21 side which won gold at the World Youth Netball Championships last year.
Netball Mainland CEO Brigit Hearn says the signing of Pedersen to the team is yet another string to the bow for the EasiYo Tactix.
“Erikana is a sensational young player with a lot to offer in the midcourt and we are thrilled to welcome her to the EasiYo Tactix family.”
“She needs some court time to continue to grow her game and under the coaching of Sue Hawkins, we’re expecting her to thrive and take her game to the next level,” Hearn said.
The signing of Pedersen takes the EasiYo Tactix roster to ten with Anna Thompson, Mwai Kumwenda, Jess Moulds, Bailey Mes, Demelza Fellowes, Hayley Saunders, Nicola Mackle, Zoe Walker and Gemma Hazeldine already committing to the team for the 2015 season.
