Finalists announced for Ding Dong Lounge Bands Competition Grand Final this Saturday

After four heats & two semi finals over the last six weeks, we have the final line up of the Ding Dong Lounge Bands Competition Grand Final, taking place this Saturday 19 July in the upstairs bar of Auckland's premier Rock bar.
Friday and Saturday night saw 8 bands compete over the weekend for the Semi Finals. Shards Of Sky &Kingdoms graduated to the finals on Friday with three bands Bad State, Thin White Lines & Eburnine selected on Saturday, after judges found two of the bands finished with equal scores on the marking sheet.
First place winners at the finals will receive recording time & mastering of a single at Depot Sound Recording Studio with Tui award winning engineer Dave Rhodes. They will also win $500 cash plus a headline gig at Ding Dong Lounge promoted by Phantom Billstickers & The Fold gig guide.
The grand final is open to the public where there is a $10 entry fee on the door.
