Savage Signs with Ministry of Sound
Following Aussie producer Joel Fletcher’s triple platinum remix of Savage’s already worldwide smash hit ‘Swing’, one of New Zealand’s most distinctive rappers, Savage, has inked a deal with Ministry of Sound.
Diverging into dance, the founding member of the Deceptikonz will record a new EP with Ministry of Sound, due for release in 2014.
Making his mark across the Tasman, Savage has also recently played a number of shows across Australia, from a series of headline shows to festivals including Pacha Festival, Rhythm n Rhyme and Breath of Life.
Savage & Joel Fletcher’s ‘Swing’ also hit #1 on the ARIA Australian Artist Singles charts, #2 on the singles charts and broke the Top 10 in the NZ artist singles charts.
After a breakthrough international placement in hit US comedy Knocked Up, the original single was also certified platinum in the USA in November 2008 and currently stands at over 2 million singles sold.
