The Waitangi Tribunal has heard a claim over the Government's handling of Rena clean up. Details were given of a secret deal the Government made with the owners and insurers of the stricken cargo vessel to support an application for resource consent to leave what's left of the wreck on Otaiti-Astrolabe reef. In Kia Korero Mai on Saturday Maanu Paul from the Mataatua District Maori Council, which is supporting the claims, discusses what was revealed.
