30 June 2014 – Media Release
The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Palliser Estate Wines of Martinborough and Café Medici are joining forces to create a unique event to indulge all your senses.
The Symphonic Feast, part of this year’s Visa Wellington On A Plate festival, will be held at Palliser Estate in Martinborough on Sunday 31 August 2014, the last day of the festival programme.
The evening will begin at 6pm with a glass of the Palliser Estate Methode Traditionnelle and canapés in the winery. The NZSO will then perform a brass fanfare to herald the guests through to the barrel hall to take their seats in this atmospheric and dramatic setting.
The NZSO will perform four other pieces between courses and at the conclusion of their last performance will get to mingle with the guests in this intimate setting.
The four course menu has been specially designed by renowned Martinborough chef, Nick Arnold from Café Medici using locally sourced produce and matched with Palliser’s wines, including some treats from their cellar. A truly unique and memorable event for the conclusion of the VWOAP 2014 programme.
Tickets are now on sale for $195pp through the VOAP website.
For more details on the event please visit the event page or contact Palliser Estate directly on 06 3069019.
