The Music Managers Forum (MMF) with support from Recorded Music NZ and the NZ Music Commission are proud to present free seminars in Christchurch and Dunedin this July for those who are new to management and wish to learn about the fundamentals of the music industry.

Both Back to Basic sessions will focus on all the useful information new managers need to know including contracts, setting up your band’s business, how to put together a strategic plan, marketing and promotion, collating a press pack, as well as advice on how to plan an album release and putting together a tour.

Three music industry professionals will be on hand to share some indispensable knowledge and to answer questions from attendees.
