Bob Dylan - Second Hamilton Show Announced
AUG 9 (SOLD OUT) and now AUG 10, 2014 – Claudelands Arena
Chugg Entertainment are pleased to announce that due to overwhelming demand, BOB DYLAN’s Claudelands Arena show on Saturday 9th August has sold out
and a second show has now been added for Sunday 10th August 2014.
Chugg Entertainment Executive Chairman Michael Chugg says: “We’ve been completely blown away by the huge response New Zealand has shown for Bob Dylan’s return, and we’re thrilled to be adding
this new show in Hamilton. There’s no denying he’s one of the most iconic and prolific artists of our generation and an opportunity to see him like this is a rare one indeed..”
Bob Dylan’s 2014 shows continue to receive rave reviews - testament to his particular artistic vitality that continues to stir the heart, mind and senses of fans the world over. For these performances,
Bob Dylan and his band, comprising Charlie Sexton, Stu Kimball, Donnie Herron, Tony Garnier and George Receli will play the entire show.
An opportunity to see Bob Dylan live in concert is an opportunity to share an encounter with one of the few pan-generational icons, an appraisal aptly summed up by this review "... wowed by a tight band,
and mesmerised by a man who spoke so much of the 60s, yet is still, astonishingly, speaking anew." The Observer, Nov 2013
Tickets are also selling fast for Bob Dylan’s CBS Canterbury Arena show in Christchurch when he returns to New Zealand on Wednesday 10th September, following his Australian tour dates.
