The All Seeing Hand - New Zealand Tour 2014
Engage all neural networks for an unencrypted, unambiguous, call for change! This winter The All Seeing Hand traverse New Zealand to deliver a transformative message by way of throat singing, frenzied drumming and thundering turntable tones. Seth Frightening will be accompanying them on this journey to mellow the heart and prepare the mind for their transmission.
The All Seeing Hand have access to an eye with more precision and scope than the Five Eyes of the dominant Western powers; One Eye through All Eyes, the Empathic Eye. They have disregarded petty rhetoric on concerns of law and collated the meta-data of human experience within this vast universe; not merely the meagre digital interactions confined to the World Wide Web, but a grand repository dedicated to living action and thought. They have experienced and analysed the thinking and behaviours of this radical species whose impact is becoming extraterrestrial. And while they wish to share their findings, they want you to know that you already know; and they are willing to manipulate you into a state in which you will be even more open to the new hierarchies they herald.
It is a time to fear, a time to decode, a time to rejoice!

The All Seeing Hand
The All Seeing Hand are collaborators in conversion. Sound shapes minds, and the amalgam of turntables, throat singing and drums holds potent persuasive powers. The turntables provide a dense weaved fabric of sounds and create a subliminal future from the carcasses of redundant songs. The throat inhales your spent breath and mumbled words then exhales harmonic rich vocals; while you struggle to hear the language your synapses are firing new paths. The drums resonate with your heart, then beat it irregular; while your chest collapses with pounding toms, your brain pulsates with frantic snares.
The All Seeing Hand is comprised of Alphabethead (masterful Turntablist gestated in the Hip Hop battle scene before branching into every direction at once, working everything from orchestral gamelan and Inuit folk music to post-punk and electronica into his compositions) Jonny Marks on vocals (a true sonic explorer, traditionally-trained Mongolian throat-singer and high-energy front-person) and B Michael Knight on drums (schooled in the energy of DIY punk and hardcore, tightly binding the whole sound together with driving rhythm that is equal parts chaos and precision).
These elements combine into music of dissonant beauty and an intense live show that leave observers in an ecstatic state of both wonder and confusion.

Seth Frightening
The music of Seth Frightening is complex and varied but also focused and direct to the point of rawness. His music tells stories with shifting, clouded characters and evasive narrative, speaking as much to our own lives as to the one he himself leads. This ability to connect, to draw listeners out of their ease and guardedness, speaks as much about the depth and richness of his character as to it does about his soaring and richly textured voice.
