New Zealand Fashion Week Gets Corporate Over Lunch
NZFW Announces its first 2014 designer show
New Zealand Fashion Week is delighted to announce an exciting new show initiative joining this year’s schedule,
featuring collections from some of New Zealand’s leading fashion designers.
On Friday 29th August, in season fashion will meet corporate style, at the first NZFW Corporate Lunch, featuring Kate
Sylvester, Trelise Cooper Boardroom, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and TK.
The show is part of a three hour VIP experience hosted by Dame Pieter Stewart, where guests will enjoy a delicious lunch
at tables sat right next to the catwalk, featuring the Resene Designer Selection Show presented by Fashion Quarterly
magazine.
The show will be one of the longest of the week. The Resene Designer Selection Show features in season garments from
every designer showing at NZFW. Guests will then enjoy a special segment styled by the Fashion Quarterly team,
showcasing their take on this upcoming summer’s fashion.
Kate Sylvester, Trelise Cooper Boardroom, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and TK will then show select pieces
from their latest collections, with a focus on dressing for the boardroom, before guests are invited to a VIP shopping
opportunity, featuring garments available at VIP prices.
“This is an exciting addition to the NZFW schedule and will give a new audience the chance to experience the glamour of
NZFW,” says Dame Pieter Stewart, Managing Director of NZFW.
“The corporate audience is so important for our designers but until now the opportunity for NZFW to reach that audience
has been limited. Now, in partnership with Coney Stanley Events we have created an exciting event that invites the
public to experience a fantastic NZFW show and VIP hosting package and allows leading designers to showcase their
talents direct to potential customers,” Stewart added.

The package includes welcome drinks and canapés, a two-course lunch with delicious wines served to guests’ tables, which
will all be situated adjacent to the catwalk.
Guests will enjoy the Resene Designer Selection Show presented by Fashion Quarterly, featuring Kate Sylvester, Trelise
Cooper, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and TK. with access to the post show VIP shopping experience in the NZFW
VIP lounge. Guests will also receive an NZFW goodie bag and access to the opening party for NZ Fashion Weekend.
