This Saturday marks one of the most important events in the NZ Music Month calendar and it's 100% FREE and open to the
public!
The Official Music Month Summit.
With seminars on Songwriting, Artist and International Development this is an event not to be missed for all who want to
gain advice from some of the most experienced in New Zealand's music industry.
To mention just a few… we will have Scott MacLachlan (Lorde, Sol3 Mio), Paul McKessar (The Naked And Famous, Brooke
Fraser), Craig Pearce (The Phoenix Foundation, The Black Seeds), and Lorraine Barry (Dave Dobbyn, Glass Owls, Benny
Tipene and Mark Vanilau). They will all be on hand to lend stories and advice on artist and international development.
Then a raft of songwriters will be on hand to talk of their experiences writing the songs that have made them among New
Zealand's favourites - including Jamie McDell, Jordan Luck, Iva Lamkum, Paul McLaney and Shayne Carter.
The Official Music Month Summit is being held this Saturday at the Auckland Museum Auditorium from 11am, Southern Atrium
entrance. Anyone wanting to attend can just rock up - or flick an email to rsvp@nzmusic.org.nz to secure a seat.
