The critically-acclaimed Seeds of Orbit listened to the people’s pleas for a mighty homegrown psychedelic band – and boy, have they answered them. Following
the release of their self-titled EP and a blistering live performance with the Psychic Maps, they've given everyone's ears and minds long enough to recover from their release party, and are back for Round 2 of
their sonic takeover plans.
Something of a supergroup, this three-piece has a deep love for heavy mod, stoner rock and acid folk. Made up of Mark Petersound (aka Mark Petersen – Straitjacket Fits, Cabbage Bomber, Shaft), Bridgette Bowie (The Doris Days, Cabbage Bomber and legendary all-girl punk band Fake Purr), and Marty Doo (NZ: The Beads; Australia: Glide, Challenger 7, Scruffs, Grapefruit),their mind-alteringly psychedelic debut EP ‘Seeds of Orbit’ was recently released on Powertool Records.
The Seeds perform a set that visually lives up to their musical power; and it’s something to behold.

Selective Yellow is an experimental electronic duo from Wellington. James Noble (The Doubtful Sounds) and Chris Wilson (Gold Medal Famous) founded Selective Yellow in February 2014 as a way to explore sound textures and evolving forms. They use a selection
of analogue and digital synthesis, including a Noise Toaster and a theremin.
Selective Yellow create semi-improvised pieces usually around 40 minutes long. Their performance is the Audio Foundation
in Auckland is their debut show. The sounds will be accompanied by visuals that are responsive to the music being
produced.
