Bands combine for annual concert
The Auckland Wind Orchestra and Auckland Youth Symphonic Band are proud to present their annual combined concert. Both Bands will play - one in the first half of the concert, and the other after intermission.
The venue is Auckland Grammar School, 525 Mountain Road, Epsom, in their Centennial Theatre.
Date: Sunday 25 May 2014
Start time: 2.30pm.
Tickets: Can be purchased online through Eventfinder - search An Afternoon at the Movies.
Costs: $10 adults, $5 children. Door sales will also be available.
There will be some great music that the kids and young people will like (and the rest of us too, of course!), and may be a wee surprise too!
The music is sourced primarily from shows and movies, and among other things will include:
Lord of the Rings
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Chorale from the Organ Symphony
Somewhere
Frozen
Harry Potter
