Kids Expo Returns with Fun for All
Kids Expo Returns with Fun for All
After a six year hiatus, family favourite KidsFair - The Family Expo is set to return to the ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane on the 17th and 18th of January, 2015.
With the entire venue packed full of entertainment, exhibits, free amusement rides for kids of all ages, it’s an event not to be missed, says Event Director William Geradts of Beyond Reality Media, creator of Australasia’s largest pulp-culture expo, Armageddon.
“KidsFair is an exhibition and entertainment extravaganza directly aimed at the children’s market from toddlers to teens (two - 15). It offers a perfect opportunity for kids and their parents to have a day out together, just what’s needed after a long Christmas break,” says Geradts.
Previous KidsFairs enjoyed attendance of over 20,000, and Geradts felt nothing had filled that gap in the market for an event such as this.
“While January is rife with music festivals and things for older teens, there are very few events that allow families to have a day out together,” he said.
It’s no accident that the event is on the same weekend as major adult music festival Big Day Out. “I guess you could say this is a big day for the little ones,” Geradts winks.
And it will be a BIG and exciting day for all the family, including FREE amusement rides, LIVE stage shows on the Logan Campbell Theatre stage, interesting and interactive exhibits, entertainment, including a magic show, sporting and physical activities, face-painting, live animals/petting zoo and a chance to try and buy new products.
“KidsFair is set to firmly re-establish itself as one of the leading family-oriented entertainment events in the country,” says Geradts.
