‘Common Values’, an ANZAC photography exhibition

Between Australia and New Zealand there is no greater unifying force than ANZAC Day.
In the lead up to ANZAC Day 2014, the Australian High Commission in Wellington will open its doors to host ‘Common
Values’, an ANZAC photography exhibition.
The set of 22 photographs from the Australian War Memorial capture a group of Australian and New Zealand soldiers in
Gallipoli during the World War 1 campaign.
“ANZAC Day is a significant time in our joint calendars, as both nations stop to remember those who have gone before
us”, said the Australian High Commissioner to New Zealand, Mr Michael Potts.
“ANZAC Day is the ultimate expression of the trans-Tasman bond. We look forward to marking this time with our New
Zealand colleagues and members of the public.”
The free exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 18 April to Sunday 27 April between 10:00am and 2:00pm daily.
“Following the exhibition in Wellington, the images will travel New Zealand, touring a number of secondary schools
across both the North and South Islands”, said Mr Potts.
