Wellington Fashion Week Kicks Off with Moochi
It was a stellar Opening Night for Wellington Fashion Week as high-end fashion label, Moochi, showcased 17 pieces of their 2014 Winter Collection.
Moochi’s collection was a mix of soft and feminine textures with that sharp edge to give it that ground-breaking but elegant winter’s touch. There was also a trendy mix of brown, leopard prints, stripes and the odd leather collar.
Moochi’s 2014 Winter Collection took ‘black’ to a whole new level on the runway with a sophisticated blend of black velvet stripes, sheer material and leather. Moochi’s 2014 Winter Collection was underpinned by the subtle but eye-pleasing oriental touches on a few of the garments on show. With oriental pleating, very loose Japanese style-draping and a rich oriental green, some of Moochi’s key collection pieces were well executed with a subtle oriental influence.
