Flip Grater Launches ‘Pigalle’ Five-Date Tour Tonight
Flip Grater will officially launch her five-date New Zealand tour tonight, on the eve of releasing her fourth studio album ‘Pigalle’
The tour will take Grater across the country including Auckland and Christchurch where she will be backed by dream-folk two-piece, French For Rabbits.
Pigalle was recorded in Studio Pigalle in Paris, where Grater continues to spend six months of every year. This dark and romantic collection of songs has been warmly regarded with rave reviews both here and overseas.
“The fourth album from this New Zealander is beguilingly peaceful and impresses, with little auditory adventures that reflect her chosen home of Paris and also her artistic integrity” - Rolling Stone, Germany
“The new album is studded with diamond tunes” - Grant Smithies, Sunday Star Times
"This album sounds like the soundtrack to High Noon, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Pulp Fiction and Brokeback Mountain all in one" – Rock Times, Germany
Flip Grater’s ‘Pigalle’ is released on April 4th and is supported by a five-date national tour. Tickets are available now at undertheradar.co.nz
