No bones about it – Body in Action will delight
Do you know that in one day your heart will pump all your blood around your body about 1000 times, or that every 30 days your body produces a totally new outer layer of skin? Answers to these questions and more will be discovered at Canterbury Museum’s latest exhibition Body in Action.
Toured by Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science and History and designed for children of all ages,Body in Action offers an amazing journey through the human body from head to toe.
Body in Action is full of highly interactive activities and inspiring information on how the human body works. For example, children can venture through the giant human mouth and giant nose, have fun in the lungs and intestines, test their aerobic capabilities, explore how the brain works and learn about bones, blood, how we hear, taste and see plus much, much more.
Body in Action opens at Canterbury Museum on Friday 18 April, entry is free; donations are appreciated. For more information see www.canteburymuseum.com
