Helping people with disabilities is what Enable New Zealand is all about. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Waikato Show in Hamilton, Enable New Zealand will be available to discuss and provide information about their services.
The Information Team will be available to provide information about: Disability Support Services, equipment suppliers, funding information, the WEKA website, and more.
Anita Reti, Acting Team Leader – Information said: “It’s important that people know what’s available and what organisations can support them and their family with ongoing decisions about their future.”
The team can give you or help you find information on: what services are available, how to access them, how to find specialist support and advocacy groups, how to find a Needs Assessment and Service Co-ordination organisation, other community information, accessible facilities and businesses in your community, information related to specific disabilities and ageing processes.
The Waikato Show is being held at Claudelands Events Centre, Hamilton on 11-13 April 2014, 10am-5pm.
