WHERE LAUGHS ARE MADE FROM LATE-NIGHT ANTICS
It’s comedy – but not as we know it, Jim.
Late Laughs is your weekend late-night fix of Festival shenanigans during the 2014 NZ International Comedy Festival in cahoots with Old Mout Cider. The rulebook is thrown out the window and, as clichéd as it may sound, anything goes!
Festival comedians from across the board guest-star in these late night, no holds barred events, where the gloves are off and there is no censor; leading to unpredictable, comical debauchery.
Top local and international comedians wrestle with themselves mentally and others physically, and deliver some of the Festival’s most unexpected and memorable moments. Heavyweight MCs Jamie Bowen, James Nokise and 2011 Billy T Award winner Rhys Mathewson (back from the UK) act as revolving referees as the carnage unfolds before the audience.
In a nutshell – this is where shit gets loose.
As part of the 2014 NZ International Comedy Festival in cahoots with Old Mout Cider, grab some mates and join us for a great night of laughs from 24 April - 18 May.
