Adam Page - The wizard of live-looping returns to Wanaka
Talented multi-instrumentalist Adam Page and his characteristic gigantic beard, returns to Wanaka after a sell-out show
at last year’s Festival of Colour. Adam is here for a week running workshops in schools in the area and then finishing
the week with three special performances that are bound to sell out.
Adam had his own late night show in the Central Lakes Trust Crystal Palace in the festival last year, and also appeared
on stage with many of the other perfomers. He ran a series of workshops in schools that were a huge hit wth the local
school children.
First up he’s a saxophone player but the instruments he loops are as diverse as the bass, banjo, clarinet and
didgeridoo, in styles ranging from funk and tango to classical, jazz and afrobeat.
His beat boxing, his high energy, sense of fun and fantastic music, make for an unforgettable performance that will
appeal to all ages.
