Do you want to share a secret? 'Stranger' by Geraldine Quinn

Published: Thu 30 Jan 2014 01:39 PM
“Listen - do you want to share a secret? Something you have always wanted to tell someone?”
For her 2013 show 'Stranger', Geraldine Quinn created an anonymous soundscape of little things we leave unsaid - apologies for a long broken vase, admitting to a crush you have, telling someone who will never hear exactly what you think of that incident at the last family gathering – anything.
Now ‘Stranger’ is coming to the 2014 New Zealand Fringe Festival, and this Melbourne rock-cabaret star would like to rework the piece with local voices for the cost of a local call.
This is a secret safe of thoughts and whispers for a theatrical project – all messages that are used in the show are de-identified, and they can be as small or big as the caller desires.
Remember, every call is anonymous, no names are used. Only the audio may be used and incorporated in the local season of the show. Leave a message on the ‘Stranger’ hotline for ANYONE. They'll never know.
