QUEER@TAPAC: A Celebration of Everything Queer

The Auckland Performing Arts Centre presents QUEER@TAPAC, a two week season of events during Auckland Pride Festival
2014. With three outstanding, would class unique shows and one stellar opening night cabaret, from 12 February – 23
February, there is something for everyone at QUEER@TAPAC.
Night of The Queer - Cabaret, 12 Feb 8.30pm, with exquisite acts and a star-studded cast, including dancers from
Okareka, promising an unforgettable mid-week night out in Auckland.
Songs For Guy, 19 – 21 Feb 8pm, 23 Feb 7pm, headlining QUEER@TAPAC with their critically acclaimed all-male five star
cabaret; a highly anticipated season returns, directed by Kip Chapman and starring Todd Emerson, Paul Barrett, Andrew
Laing, and Martyn Wood.
Mumbai Monologues, 12 – 15 Feb 7pm, 16 Feb 4pm, a drawcard performance production of diverse, hilarious, touching South
Asian monologues – an exclusive opportunity to experience a fascinating collection of stories of culture, pride and
sexuality. Not to be missed!!
Queen, 13 – 15 Feb 8pm, 16 Feb 6.30pm, TAPAC supports young, award-winning, emerging writer Sam Brooks (Smoke Labours
Productions) to produce a gritty, candid view of what it means to be a young gay man in Auckland, under the creative
direction of Shortland Street’s Harry McNaughton.
