East Brunswick All Girls Choir return to New Zealand this February
Wednesday February 5th, Whammy Bar, Auckland
Sometimes it's folk, other’s just plain abrasive, it can sound like the old dainty blues and even “quite pretty”. Since 2008, Melbourne’s East Brunswick All Girls Choir have been playing anywhere and everywhere.
Lining up alongside the likes of Thee Oh Sees, The Chills, The Bats, Darren Hanlon and Children Collide, EBAGC are fast gaining recognition as one of Australia’s best new acts.
“DEAD AIR doesn't sound like a conventional record but it sounds just right, with skeletal guitar lines and rolling thunder rhythm sections ratcheting up the intensity without ever using more velocity as a get-out clause”
- Craig Mathieson, Sydney Morning Herald.
Returning to New Zealand after shifting sands across the globe East Brunswick All Girls Choir have a swag of new tracks and a new album just about to breach womb.
With new single Dirty Bird released late last year they're ready to bring the filth to the doorstep, like a shitty present the dog leaves on your bed.
