Zig Zag Theatre presents. . .
Red Nose Reverie
When life gives you lemons, start juggling.
In the 1880’s-1890’s, a Russian circus performer and an Italian ballerina met in a European circus troupe and proceeded to fall in love and start a family. Their children were raised in the circus, growing up in front of audiences all over the world and learning how to paint on a convincing smile and carry on with the show, no matter what life threw their way.
This Fringe Festival will see new theatre company Zig Zag Theatre hit the scene with debut piece Red Nose Reverie, inspired by Creative Producer Renee Pritchard’s fascinating family history in the circus world of the late 1800’s. Red Nose Reverie follows the story of Jandy, Emile, and Little Orlando, three clowns who, having grown up behind the curtains of the big top, are thrown into a life of face paint, alter-egos and performance.
Red Nose Reverie promises to be a fantastical and heart-warming story about three clowns, their adventures around the world and life in a constant state of “The-Show-Must-Go-On”.
