The Auckland Aces have named an unchanged 13 for their eighth round HRV Twenty20 clash with the Northern Knights tomorrow at Eden Park.
The game shapes as an important one for both sides with the two teams equal on 16 points with three games to play.
The Aces will be looking to recreate the kind of form they showed on home turf last time out when they thrashed the Otago Volts on the main oval.
Coach Matt Horne is looking for more improvement from his players as they look to mount a finals bid.
“We’ve improved over the competition but there are still a number of areas that we can pick up on so that’s a real focus for this game. The Knights will be just as hungry as we are to win this one so it should be a great contest.”
A team will be named from the following thirteen players:
Gareth Hopkins (Captain) (Parnell)
Michael Bates (Suburbs New Lynn)
Craig Cachopa (Takapuna)
Colin de Grandhomme (Howick Pakuranga)
James Fuller (Overseas professional)
Donovan Grobbelaar (Howick Pakuranga)
Anaru Kitchen (Waitakere City)
Bruce Martin (Parnell)
Colin Munro (Howick Pakuranga)
Chris Nash (Overseas professional)
Matt Quinn (Cornwall)
Jeet Raval (Suburbs New Lynn)
Jono Sole (Takapuna)
