Gael Monfils withdraws from 2014 Heineken Open

The NZ Festival of Tennis organisers were informed this morning that world number 31, Gael Monfils(France), has withdrawn from the 2014 Heineken Open due to fatigue.
Confirmation from the ATP Tour this morning stated that his fatigue will prevent him from playing at theupcoming tournament.
Despite this news, the Heineken Open looks forward to bringing world-class tennis to New Zealand, featuring six players inside the top 30, led by four-time Heineken Open champion and world number three, David Ferrer, who returns to Auckland for the 10th time.
