Auckland International Buskers Festival 2014!

Auckland International Buskers Festival 2014!
Auckland’s 14th Annual International Buskers Festival will be showcasing 11 of the most spectacular street performers on earth. 24th - 27th of January 2014 in Auckland's Heart of the City.

The Auckland International Buskers Festival returns for the fourteenth time, to overload your senses, with performers from all over the globe including Australia, Brazil, Germany, USA, Italy, Japan, Mexico and New Zealand! Our crazy Performers will blow your mind when you take to the streets in Auckland’s Heart of the City this Anniversary weekend.

Be prepared to meet Funny Bones with their rare and unusual giant puppets; Diogo Alvares, a Brazilian master manipulator and illusionist; Mr.Animation, a master of the robot dance who has performed on the Jay Leno Show and America's Got Talent; Aerial Manx who was requested to perform a private show for Usher and tour cast; and New Zealand’s own Sport Suzie who channels Flash Dance and Olympic weightlifters in her hilarious show.

The Festival is comprised of six sites spread throughout the Heart of the City. Sites include Vulcan Lane, Downtown Shopping Centre, Princes Wharf, Karanga Plaza and two Viaduct Harbour sites.

The night shows in Market Square, Viaduct Harbour have been part of the Festival since 2003 and are a great way to socialise with friends whilst enjoying good outdoor dining in a fun and comical environment.

So zip on your best clapping hands, firm up your stomping boots and dive down the back of the couch for a handful of loose change. From the Viaduct to Vulcan Lane, the streets will be transformed into a playground for some of the world’s most talented street performers. Come experience a world of madness and mayhem at the 2014 International Buskers Festival in Auckland’s Heart of the City, 24 to 27 January.
