Coca-Cola NZ Launches Move60, An Initiative to Get Kiwi Teens Active
BMX Olympic Silver Medallist Sarah Walker joined 150 secondary school students on a ‘fun ride’ in Auckland today to celebrate the launch of Move60, a Coca-Cola NZ initiative designed to motivate teens to get active. The initiative, which is developed in partnership with Bike NZ and Foundation for Youth Development (FYD), aims to get 100,000 Kiwi teens moving by 2020.
Students from Auckland’s Rutherford College, Auckland Seventh-Day Adventist High School and Kelston Girls College were selected through the FYD ‘Stars’ Programme to take part in the launch. Each student was gifted a brand new Avanti bike and safety gear, and took part in a full-day skills, safety and training session with Sarah Walker.
