Back to Back Golds for Adam Hall
Copper Mountain, Colorado, USA - (12 December 2013) – The northern hemisphere season looks to be shaping up well for New Zealand adaptive skier Adam Hall who is celebrating winning back to back gold medals.
Today marks a successful conclusion to the six days of racing at the International Paralympic Committee Nor-Am races in Colorado with Adam winning a second gold medal in the slalom. Adam one a gold medal in the slalom yesterday as well as bronze and silver medals in the Super-G earlier in the week.
“It has been a pretty full on week with challenging cold conditions, though the last two slalom days have been fantastic,” commented Adam after today’s race.
“It’s been a very competitive week with all races being split by just tenths of seconds. I’m very happy with today’s skiing and with my overall performance of the week of competition.
“This has probably been the biggest Nor-Am series we have had with many world cup athletes from around the world.”
