Wright joins Aces for first HRV Twenty20 clash two
The Auckland Aces will welcome English all-rounder Luke Wright to their side for tomorrow night's clash with the
Wellington Firebirds at Westpac Stadium.
The twelve named for tomorrow night's game also sees the inclusion of another overseas import for the first time in the
form of fast bowler James Fuller.
Wright returns to the HRV Twenty20 competition after appearing three season ago in the colours of his opposition
tomorrow night and on the back of impressive performances for his national side.
The game provides a re-match of last year's semi-final and will be the chance for the Aces to get their short form game
rolling as they make the switch from four day cricket.
Coach Matt Horne believes however that his team will make the adjustment well.
"It's definitely something that the guys have to get their head round and get themselves in the right mindset but
they're all pretty used to changing formats now so it's not such a big deal."
Horne is also looking forward to having his overseas professionals available.
"It's great to have Luke and James here and they're both quality players who I think will add a lot to the side."
