Vodafone Music App hits the shelves

Vodafone Music App hits the shelves

The Vodafone Music App launches today, bringing the Official NZ Top 40 Singles Chart direct to your mobile, wherever you are and whenever you want it.

The app delivers unlimited access to New Zealand’s best selling tracks and playlists from the hottest handpicked Kiwi and International Artists, continuously updated – for just $1.50 per week.

Vodafone Music makes keeping up with the latest music better value and easier than ever by downloading chart updates via WiFi and storing the songs on your mobile. The service avoids streaming and instead delivers fresh access to regularly updated new music anytime, anywhere.

Vodafone is offering a free four week trial, so music lovers can enjoy free music in the lead up to Christmas, available from both Android and iOS app stores.

Vodafone Consumer Director, Matt Williams, says the Vodafone Music app gives Kiwis the latest hits – without being forced to listen to ads.

“Once downloaded, Vodafone Music allows you to access the most popular music directly on your mobile, without eating into your data allowance. Customers get 70 full music tracks, including the Official Top 40, plus exciting new releases and tracks from the biggest music events in New Zealand. Play them anywhere – there’s no streaming – leaving you free to discover new favourite bands and tracks.”

Matt continues: “The Vodafone Music app means you get the entire chart for little more than the price of one song. It’s another demonstration of Vodafone’s commitment to New Zealand music.”
