“Fantastic array of items” in Awesome Arts Access Auction
A Gretchen Albrecht artwork, travel and a luxury resort and golf breakaway for two in Queenstown, dinner for eight in your own home, a Superman tee-shirt signed by Russell Crowe, and tickets to live performance are just some of the items up for grabs in the Awesome Arts Access Auction in Wellington on Wednesday 27 November.
This event in CQ Hotels Wellington is Arts Access Aotearoa’s end-of-year fundraising and networking event. Tickets are only $25 and include live music from members of the Rodger Fox Wellington Jazz Orchestra, a drink on arrival, canapés, spot prizes, business networking opportunities – and, of course, an “awesome” auction.
Arts Access Aotearoa is the key organisation in New Zealand working to increase access to the arts for everyone in this country - particularly people with a disability or impairment.
“This is a great opportunity to support the work we do in Wellington and the rest of the country,” says Richard Benge, Executive Director, Arts Access Aotearoa. “It’s also a chance to network with your clients and colleagues, celebrate the end of year and buy some Christmas presents.”
Arts Access Aotearoa patron Miranda Harcourt will be sharing the stage with the evening’s auctioneer, Peter Wedde of Peter Wedde Antiques in Kelburn.
“Businesses and arts organisations in the Cuba Quarter, Wellington and beyond have been extremely generous,” Richard says. “There is a fantastic array of items for people to bid on and it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The Awesome Arts Access Auction will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 27 November at CQ Hotels Wellington, 223 Cuba St, Wellington.
To purchase one or more tickets for you, your business colleagues or clients please contact Gemma Williamson by emailing info@artsaccess.org.nz or call 04 802 4349.
