What's On @ Lopdell
What's On @ Lopdell
Illuminated: Jude
Robertson
Opening this Friday, 6pm
Exhibition
runs 15 November to 2 December
Illuminated is
a window installation reflecting the metamorphosis of our
cityscape that proposes the patterns of our natural and
social environments are never static.
Also featured in
the gallery during this period are new works by Joanna
Lewton.
Curiosity Cabinet: Vaune
Mason
Exhibition runs 1 November - 4
December
As western culture progresses at an
accelerating rate, folklores, lessons and symbols are no
longer shared and passed down through generations. Vaune
Mason researches and references this history in her
jewellery and a wall installation she has created
specifically for Lopdell House Gallery.
Veronica
Herber: 'making circle' event
Monday 25 November, from
5.30 to 7.30pm
In December, the distinctive 1960s
architecture of neighbouring Ceramco House will be the
canvas for a cascade of colour, which will flow into the
gallery.
Meet Veronica at the gallery to join her
making circle: a form of quilting circle will be formed
for sharing stories and knowledge about contemporary
art-making.
